Kari Olsen joined St. Luke’s in July of 2020. As Director of Counseling Services, she works with both the Counseling and Educational Support Services (ESS) teams. Kari is passionate about supporting the academic, social and emotional needs of students. Before joining St. Luke’s, Kari served as a Program Manager at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, where she worked with high schools across the country as they developed social emotional learning (SEL) programming in their schools. Prior to her time at Yale, she worked as a middle and high school administrator, middle and high school counselor, and elementary school teacher in the Washington D.C. area. She enjoys singing, watching baseball and spending time with her family.
